a 'Coming together'
Trinity Woodhouse and Handsworth are only alike in the sense that we are both Methodist churches and we have the same minister. Woodhouse is in the centre of the village of Woodhouse whereas Handsworth is on the main road. Each church has its own meetingsfew of which are the same.
So what brought us together?
The credit goes in the first place to our minister Debora. Realising that the reduce number of preachers, local and ordained, that were available to the plan and the consequent increase in LA services she suggested that we worship together. This started in 2018 with Holy Communion initially once a quarter. In 2019 we moved to once a month. We were also driven by the pandemic in 2020 and 2021 which brought us closer together.
